My Dog is acting strange.

My dog, Taco, hasn’t been acting like himself lately and he’s been shaking more than he usually does. Whenever I touch a certain spot on his neck, he starts wimpering. What’s wrong? And what should I do?

Answer #1

Shaking can be an indication of pain…He may be suffering from a disk problem, or a back problem (little dogs jump up and down off furniture all day long)…

Take him to the Vets for xrays…if there are no lumps or bumps the chances of cancer in his neck are about nil…They may just put him on a NSAD, and tell you to keep him from jumping for a few days…

There is no way that we can diagnose your dog over the Internet. We are not vets and we would only be guessing what the problem is and that will not help your dogs situation any. You need to take your dog to the vet. Shaking is a sign of pain. If he whimpers when you touch a certain spot on his neck, then something is definitely wrong. The only way you will find out what’s wrong, is to take him to the vet ASAP!
