My dog is acting strange?

My dog is acting strange, like he’s scared or like has just gotten into trouble. This morning when I was getting ready for my interview he was in my closet, he ran out and had his tail tucked in between his legs and ran underneath my bed. When I called him he ran to me and sat on my feet. Normally he’s running around playing and his tail is wagging non stop. This has been a pretty normal morning except for this abnormal behavior. My mom told me that maybe he needed to go potty so I took him out and he just hiked his leg and peed for like 1 second (normally he pees a river…) I sat down on the couch before I left and he just wanted to be RIGHT ON TOP OF ME…Now he’s laying down with my mom and she said he’s been acting like he’s feeling a bit better but not too much.. When I picked him up when I got home I patted him on his back and he burped. What does this sound like? Does this sound like a reason I should take him to the vet? Does he have gas? Is there anything I can do for him?

Sounds like maybe a new routine has been introduced and maybe anxiety is getting to him. By the way CUTIE PIE PUPPY
