Cats are very independent animals and sometimes aren’t very affectionate. I’ve had cats that were by my side every moment and I’ve had others that you only see at feeding time.

That’s not really true. I have 4 kittens and they just want me to be around all the time. They stay by my toes all the time and follow me everywhere. If I go away they start meowing, even though their milk bowl is full.
