How do I motivate myself to get into a regular exercise routine?

Answer #1

Getting started is one of the toughest things to do in a exercise routine but maybe creating a exercise log-plan of daily activities that you need to do daily to reach your goals can help you get started so that way you can keep track of everything your doing and that sure can keep you motivated to not quit the exercise plan because why work hard then give up?

Answer #2

Put a photo of you on the frige and when you in to eat look at the pic

Answer #3

Put a pic of Jenifer Lopez in her sexy dress and think how much you want to become like her LOL, It works for me :-)

Answer #4

I like that, I will do as you suggest. Thank you.

Answer #5

That’s a good idea too. I will put both pictures side by side on the fridge!!!

Answer #6

yes Amanda, what you have suggested is a good idea, writing down exercises I can do everyday. That may be a way of being proactive.

Give away no less than $15 to a random person on the street every time you miss a workout. I started doing this and have only missed three workout in 6 years. Sometimes, I need to get up at 5 am to get the workout in, but the though of forking over money to some random person always motivates me to get off my rump and into the gym.

Answer #9

you dont need to work out for four hours ar a gym (not nessesary) .. I personally do INSANITY now.. its the best

or you can search for this girl on youtube named Suzana, search for (charliejames1975) .. her work outs are only 10 minutes a day and are great for people who are just starting to work out or if your an expert at it too.. i really recomment this..

hope this helps :)

My mom like to take sticky notes and put them on the couch, remote contol, fridge, and anywhere else she would go to do something that wasnt healthy. So she would write, “ Dont you dare! Burn baby burn” (I know, my mom is weird.) and so everyday she would actually execise. Works for her. Good Luck (:

Answer #11

just imagine the results you want and try to get into the routine of working toward your goal

Answer #12

have a clear idea of what you want…. and understand WHY it is what you want that way when you’re not motivated you go back to the why and if your why is a strong enough reason then you’ll already be motivated…go back to the why and figure out why you really want something if you’re not motivated enough

Answer #13

I’ll have to think about that. You’ve made a very interesting point, thank you Vaughn.

Answer #14

Yes, that’s what I need to concentrate on. Thank you for your comments Brianna.

Answer #15

You’ve got me curious Llyana, what’s INSANITY? I’ll get on that website you told me about and let you know what I come up with. Thanks heaps.
