monroe peircing swelling?

I had a monroe peircing 5 days ago, and it is stil swollen quite badly. where the peircing is swollen the bar on the inside of my lip is digging in and is making a dent on the inside of my lip that I think might be causing the long lastin swelling. Is this normall? or is it just my peircing? please let me know.

I have the exact same problem. All I can say is buy sea salt, that is what I am doing in a few minutes. mix it with warm water and swish it around for mouth for about 4 to 5 minutes. Do it often and every day. Hopefully yours, and mine, will eventually get better. <3

Be sure to clean it propperly… I think it’s alright, but if your really worried about it, call the place you got it done at and ask them about it.

I don’t have one. but does not sound normal to me, I would get it checked out before a bad infection sets in

My top lip is infected it has like a fat lipe & all & its diging into the side & I need to know how to get rid of it cause I really need this to go away cause it hurts really bad ? can anyone help with answering with how to get it to go away ?
