Can a Monroe Peircing paralyze your face?
I had my monroe done,but it closed up.
So today my friend was going to repeirce it. & is it true that like it can paralyze your face or something?
I have no idea, Im more scared to do it now, becasue I read that.
But any help would be great(:
ok, I had a monroe (as I have said many times before)
I took mine out for about 2 minutes, and what with my pain threshold not being what it used to, it semi-closed up and I couldn’t take the pain od re-piercing it, as I had done with so many of my piercings.
the thing is, it needs to be done as sterile as the first piercing, because you will, eveidently bleed, which means that tissue is being damaged.
this means you are more likely to encounter infection AND scarring.
go back to the piercer and have it re-done. my monroe has really scarred. the inner lining of the lips heal at an extraordinary rate, thats why you can’t just ‘pop’ the jewellary back through…
go back to the piercer, it will seem more painful when it’s being re-done in those conditions of no anastetic and non sterile conditions. for the sake of £20 get it re-done proffesionally…
re-doing it in the same place will actually be worse, because the tissue is starting to scar already..
ok..I don’t have a monroe piercing or anything…just ears but when my ears closed up I had them re pierced a few years later and it really didn’t hurt much at all. is there a difference in skin and tissue between the ear and the “monroe” area?

I have a monroe but I doubt that can happen.
not unless you pierce it in the same spot as before as I imagine..
