Monroe infected maybe? I don't know

I think my monroe is infected anyone who this has happened to? I have had it done for about 6 or more weeks! But it’s just now hurting and turning red again a few weeks ago I changed the stud to a smaller and shorter one! but I am freaking out now!

6 weeks is a bit soon to be changing it you need to wait at least 3 month so it has time to heal also make sure the bar you put in isnt too small also make sure you dont having something like an earring stud in there, because if you do it doesnt belong there, which would exxplain why the area is not red, infected and will never be able to heal also make sure the jewelrey you have in is surgical steel if its another kind of metal you might be allergic to it it would be best to go back to the peircer or a doctor to make sure though and check to see if everythings okay changing it would have also aggrivated the area making it go red again and hurt a bit though especially if it wasnt healed properly yet

you may have changed the jewlery to soon. always go to your piercer for your first jewlery change so they can make your your ready for it. go back and see the person that pierced you, phone calls will not help. he/she will tell you what to do. until you get there apply a warm compress three times daily to help the healing process.
