Is it bad I've made new friends?

me and mi friends were the best together there for each other and etc. we thought wed be friends forever but when we hit middle school I changed they all said I got popular and that I became more ghetto not a prep like them anymore I feel really bad because I love them to death but like I don’t know is it bad I changed and made new friends? I still want to be friends wit them but its hard because yea they made some new friends too but I have friends who always want me to sit wit them at lunch like (no offense to anyone) preps ghetoos and goths and I cant make everyone happy all tho I want to =)but how do I stay friends wit all of them but there mad because of the decissions I make and how I act differently now
