ok what you have to do is distribute the 3x to each term inside the parentheses. so you would get:

Lela: The directions just told me to : “Solve the equatiom” lol if that what you meant. I looked through my “distributive property” notes and it didnt have a similar question so I didn’t know where to begin I’d practice doing it but the answer came out all wrong! Unless I was looking at the wrong notes? lol
