What is the y-intercept of the graph of each equation? a.y=-3x b.3x-6y=12

a. y = mx + c y=-3x + 0 c = 0

b. y = mx + c 3x-6y=12 (divide whole equation by 3) x-2y = 4 x = 4 + 2y x - 4 = 2y 2y = x - 4 y = 1/2x - 4 c = -4

b) 3x-6y=12

  +6y = +6y
 3x=12+6y
 divided by 3= divided by 3

1x=2y+4 x=2y+4
