Instead of interfereing with the natural reproductive cycle of these wild horses with the 200 dollar/dart contraceptive plan, why doesnt the government round them all up and ship them to southern siberia or various valleys in the himalayas. Horses are everywhere on the planet anyway and in those sporadically populated areas i bet they could fit right in. distribute the horses around the globe! then when we run out of consumer petroleum, there will be a horse in every garage lol!
before they ruin our public lands, I’d put government hunters out there and kill a good number of them - but the bleeding hearts scream too much for that.

We shouldn’t manage wild horse and burro populations. We should let nature do what nature does. They should reach a peak and decline due to lack of food and find a balance just like happened before we existed.
