Karl Rove to finally testify about the attorney firings?

Apparently, Karl Rove has been formally given a subpoena to testify about the executive branch’s role and process involving the firings of nine US attorney’s (all democrats) by the Bush administration. Seems like a bold move, really but…supposing the guy is guilty: will this limit executive mis-management of the country in the future?

Or is it a waste of resources to get the guy’s testimony? Imho…if there’s justice to be done, it should be done…

I do not think it is a waste of time. If crimes were committed and nothing is done, it will give future presidents precedent to do the same.

I am really curious as to how he will respond. He no longer has Bush to protect him with abuse of executive privalege.
