Made Redundant

So I was given a months notice at the start of April saying that my job is no longer needed (im a receptionist they want a PA for the lousy boss) I have 5 days holidays left to take and 5 days till I finish. Would you finish out the end of the month and get paid or walk now using he annual leave and screw them like they have done to me (Please note that if I do work till the end of the month I’ll get aid for my holidays) Should I be money hungry or leave them with nobody to cover

I’d stay to get all monies due.

Answer #3

I don’t think it’s really a matter of who screwed who over. When you go look for another job, you’re going to need a reference - you don’t want your reference telling your potential employer that you’re disloyal.

Jobs become redundant - it happens, and you’re not the only one. In the end, you still have to behave like a mature, responsible adult.

Answer #4

I didnt mention that I already have my letter of reference and im going back to college and he tried it on with me - makes my skin crawl to be here any longer
