What happens if I made a tiny mistake in my unemployment application?

I’m not sure, but I think I put the wrong date I finished my job in July 8, but iput July 9 by mistake, but everyhing else i filled right is that something to worry about. The thing is I cannot change it now. That was the only mistake. What do you think? Tell me please thank you.

Answer #1

You should be fine. At most the error might be edited if caught.

Answer #2

But I highly doubt anything at all will happen, since it is only a one day difference.

Answer #3

If you fill out an application and realize that you made an error, I believe you are supposed to call the number they provide you with at the end of the application. I believe the website that you filled the application out on will also have the number. If you completed the application in some service centre or facility otherwise, I’d go in there and explain it to them.

Since they usually ask for a ROE, it’s better to be safe. (They do that here, anyways.) Just explain that you accidentally put the wrong number in.

Answer #4

Mel’s right … any errors (even something as small as a work end date - which needs to coincide with your ROE) can delay the processing of your application - call them up and get it fixed.
