Lost Luggage

had a flight taking continental airlines to EWR, and I lost one of my luggages, and have been workin for a number of days now.. I thought someone’s gonna call me to notify me that it can be claimed somewhere, but was not given a call back. I tried calling the airline, and they kept advicing to go to the airport, but what I worry about is that, it’s been days, from the date I came here. is there any numbers I can call other than continental’s number? please help.. :(

I’m not irate, I promise.. and what I can’t believe on the scenario is that, the airline rep is the one who’s irate! and I can’t help but just laugh about how ironic our situation was.. sigh is there any toll-free number I can call to reach the luggage section of the airport?

The airport may be able to help as well…we lost our luggage en route to Monte Negro (seems it’s common b/c they save on fuel costs by shipping luggage by truck weekly, rather than including it on the plane).

What I’d do is call everybody, constantly…be polite but firm (as being rude won’t get you anyway, I tried it :( ). Hope it works out!
