Can a stationary bike help you lose weight?

Can a stationary bicycle help you lose weight? I’ve been using it for 1/2 an hour a day so far and I’ve been doing around 150 crunches a day…Will this help me lose my tummy??

The main problem with stationary bikes is that using them is boring. How hard are you working on the bike? If you are just moving your feet for 30 minutes that won’t necessarily burn a lot of calories. If you confirm that you are working at your target heart rate working out on an exercise bike can improve cardiovascular conditioning and burn a few calories.

I’d recommend a bit more variety in workouts than 30 min on an exercise bike and 150 crunches. Do you actually enjoy this workout? Most people don’t have the self-discipline to continue working out when it is no fun.
