Can I loose 40 pounds in 35 days?

I weigh 135 and i’m trying to get down to about 90 pounds before school starts. Is it possible?

How tall are you? Generally, 135 is a healthy weight. Make sure you’re not going to get too skinny, because yes, there is a thing as too skinny. Its unattractive and unhealthy.

But, as you’re not standing in front of me, the best way to lose weight is cutting carbs, increasing protein (cuts hunger), and doing light exercise, such as slow jogging. If you actually have that much fat to lose (which by your picture I seriously doubt), you’ll probably want a few crunches in there too. It’ll help tone any extra skin.

Then you might be able to lose a little bit. I have a friend that is 4’11” and is about 95 lbs, so if you’re 5’1”, you’re goal can be about 105. However, Melina has a naturally tiny tiny build, so that may be unrealistic.

heard u can lose 20 in two weeks so thatshould possible but it’d be a really strict diet and stuff and it’d probably unhealthy to lose all that weight tht fast…

Impossible without getting sick. You would have to loose over 1.1 pounds each day. At that rate your body will start to break down its own lean muscle mass so it can feed itself.

you can lose weight but not much, eat vegtables, cus the stomach only knows VOLUME a.k.a. if u get hungry, eat something with little to no fat or drink water. it helps to run or exercise. :)

I dont even Know if that’s possible… My best guess would be to drink plenty of water and dont eat any junk food or oily foods or anything high in fat or sugars… Try to avoid sodas…. Best of luck

i think you should get down to 110..dieting is the key along with exercising..if you cheat on your diet it won work..so you gottta be determined

You’re talking about losing a third of your body weight in one month. Impossible. It’s also not very healthy to lose more than 1 or 2 lbs per week. If I were you I’d just start working out to get some tone… and then just cut back on junk food.

That is an EXTREMELY unrealistic goal. That much weight in such a short amount of time? And down to 90 pounds, that is NOT a healthy weight for you, and this is coming from a girl who suffered from severe Anorexia Nervosa. A healthy amount to lose is 1-2 lbs PER WEEK. With your goal, you would be attempting to lose around 6 pounds a week, that is 6-3 times more than what is a healthy way for you to lose weight.

90 pounds is a little yucky ! Be healthy and you can you look good too without weighing 90 pounds. Maybe focus work on building your muscle instead. Your weight won’t change tons but you’ll be more toned and fit but still be a good size!

It is NOT healthy to lose more than a pound a week. Not to mention, if your not that heavy to begin with then your body will fight you every step of the way to keep the extra fat (survival mechanism). And its healthy to have that little bit of fat, you risk becoming infernal if you BMI is too low and frankly, its kinda unattractive to be too skinny, a boy would tell you the same thing, better to have a little more to love then for them to see your ribs. If you want to love some weight, healthy, then eat healthy, lay of the starch, drink LOTS of water and exercise more. You can lose some and even a few ponds can make a difference, and school doesnt mean you have to stop. Do it healthy and you will feel better and it will actually stay off. If you starve to do it then you will just gain it all back later and probably be sick.

OH! And not eating only slows down you metabolism and makes it harder to lose weight. Eat healthy, non processed snacks when you are hungry to keep the metabolism going.
