what do u.v lights show up ????

ok my sister got a u.v light for her room (which is my old room) i know they use them for serching for stuff for forensics is it just the light that shows stuff up or do you have to add anything ?????

it should show blood and some other body fluids. but forensic scientists use special glasses that make it more visible.

Well, another thing is that they show up places where you have written with a special “invisible” (UV) ink pen.

i had 2 uv lights in my pc at that time and i modded all the psu leads with uv plastic and uv cable ties. you can see the 120mm exaust is made from uv plastic. so in order to get the most out of them youll need some uv compatible stuff.

you could buy loads of uv cable ties, a piece of small wood and spend a few days with your sis gluing them onto teh wood to make a uv dog or summet.

I played with one, and almost everything is enhanced under the light.. I did it in the kitchen, and the oils glowed.. it was kind of gross, actually. They say urine glows, my brother had spilt gatorade on the carpet and that glowed.. so if anything does glow in her room, she wouldn’t be able to tell what exactly it is :)
