What can I do about the lights?

So every year there has been someone how messes with our christmas lights. One year the repeatedly cut our candy cane lights, another time they cut the lights on the tree outside and last year the cut our lights on the bushes. THis year they keep breaking the lights on the ground by the sidewalk. We don’t know what to do.

Install a security camera on your home or catch him in action using your camera, then you can have him formally charged.

Christmas lights are relatively cheap. Chances are, you will never catch the miscreants who do it (probably kids). It could be a neighbor who is also annoyed at your lights… who knows?

Just be prepared to spend $10-$50 bucks once a year to buy new lights. I doubt there is anything you can do.
