How are the legs of a grasshopper adapted to hold onto plants, and how does the tympanic membrane help a grasshopper?

Answer #1

the arrangement of the grasshoppers’ legs (similar to most insects) are spread wide open, spreading the gravitational pressure of its body weight. Their legs have hair similar to that on peter parker’s fingertips. The arrangement of the legs (reverse-jointed) allows it to jump and hurl itself in such a massive trajectory. Tympanic membrane is the medical term for “ear drum”, the one that allows you to hear. It’s pretty self-explanatory on how it helps the tiny grasshopper navigate in such a large space.

And for goodness’ sake, don’t use FA for your homework.
