Kittens

My cat gave birth to 4 cute kittens 1 week ago, how ever I cant tell which ones are males and which ones are females? the all have 6 nipples and the sexing part looks the same to me so maybe they all might be females? I just dont know lol. please help me

Answer #1

the kittens are all female which was very odd lol. thank you all so much. it did pay to wait til they wer a bit older but still the same. Thanks

Answer #2

The males will have more of a “pouch” look to their area. Females don’t have as big of an area. They may still be too young to tell. Usually about 4 weeks, you can see the difference (unless they’re all the same of course!).

Answer #3

If you’re familiar with what they look like, or the genders are different, then you can easily spot what they are…but, if you’re not familiar with newborn kittens or they’re all the same gender, it’s often difficult to tell.

Both sexes appear to have 2 holes - the anus, and the genitalia…female genitalia will be closer to the anus then the male genitalia, so if there’s a significant space between the 2 holes, then you have males.

Yeah.. I agree with the answer above… My cat also had 4 cute kitty’s… we had to wait to see if theyre males or females… But they could all be females you know.. Thats what happened with us… So its possible
