Do you think this is meannn?

I got a new kiitten and when we bought it they said it was a girl, it came from a horrible place with horrible people and the lady said she was 8 weeks when we got her but we didnt think so because she couldnt even walk…and they shouldnt be split up from there mums untill there 8 weeks but we took her to the vet and they said we must of got her when she was 2 weeks because now she is only 8-10 weeks now and we took her again and we said this is our kitty pheobe and they checked her and they said it was a boy…but its wayyy to pretty ot be a boy but we named him charlie, he came from a house which had 7 crazy kids 5 dogs and 5 cats do you think its mean just picking up any and giving them away when she doesnt know the actual sex of it. but its sooo cute and I love him to bits but I feel so sorry because he was so young he was slurpping his food like a baby just been born… do you think its mean that it got split at like 2 weeks and she said it was 8 weeks x

I am helping to foster 6 orphaned kittens right now for a local shelter. my friend and I have fostered many with mothers and this is just the second litter we’ve fostered with no mom so we had to bottle feed them for the first 3-4 weeks the slurping may be that he still wants to nurse but ours are starting to eat at 4 weeks old they learn to lap formula first then to small WET cat food fancy feast mini morsels to be exact sexing a kitten is hard for the first couple of weeks so it is likely that charlie WAS very young when you got him but one thing I’ve noticed about young kittens is that they really live in the moment the previous owner may have been a little negligent but if charlie is loved and safe right know then that is what he knows. an d I bet he makes a great family member for you now remember it takes balls to neuter your pet so get him neutered at the right age as advised by your vet but good job maybe a friend could go and get the rest of the kittens just to get them out of that household and get HER cat fixed too

Good for you for taking the kitten The whole not knowing the sex thing though happens a lot more often then one might think though

P.S. By the way do you happen to live in iowa because the same thing happened at a the vet clinic I work at same name and everything

You deserve a pat on the back. Congrats for taking a kitten that needed love and care. Good for you for getting him away from the woman. She should be reported. Many cities have rules about the number of pets you can have. It is also against MOST state laws to separate an animal from it’s mother before it is 6 wks. old. I hope you will have him neutered. He will be much happier and healthier and will live longer. Good for you! Shame on that horrible woman.

Answer #5

we got our kitten(almost 9 years ago now)from a lady in the country(from a add in the paper) and they were (the kittens) in an old abondoned trailor with poop all over and even some dead kittens laying around. We almost left, when my son saw one he wanted sooo bad , so we took him home, bathed him , brought him to the vet and he has turned out to be the most loving, affectionate cat I have ever had. My son named him Simba(he is peachy in color with white chest) . I feel like he knows we saved him that day! :)
