Judgment
Why must people judge us on our past and have a blind eye to what we have achieved or overcome in our life long struggles with addiction or a criminal background.
Generally, it’s because “past behavior” indicates “future behavior”…If at this time, your “past” is only months old…then of course, people aren’t buying it…yet. However, if you take the focus off “them”…and put it on yourself, and stick to the straight and narrow…This moment will become your “past”…it takes time, but that’s all it takes…
Stick to it for yourself, and don’t worry what “they” are thinking.
p
I for one know what you are saying its stupid right its because (no offense intended) most people are just stupid like that I mean why look at only the negatives?it would be easier if they undderstood or cared but I learned to ignore how those type of people feel about me and am glad my friends see the positives in me
People will always judge us by our past, especially when it is a bad past, Because, even though you may appear to have changed, people still see you as a person with a capability to do wrong, it is like driving, once you do it, you can never forget how. all you have to do now is prove to yourself that you have changed, live a different life, just forget what people think, and in the end, you will be more proud of yourself than most people would have been of you.
Well there’s the your first impression matters most type phenomenon… where it’s what sticks out more… And then regaining trust after it’s been lost is always harder than gaining it in the first place… see if they didnt know you’re background you start at zero, however if they know you have a “bad” background you kinda start at a negative… Fair? Maybe not, but that’s the way the human mind works..
umm thats not really true
cause most people dont change I’ve lernt that from expreice..
