Unless your dad is a fcking Sasquatch or you live in a bizarro world where punches are hugs, you should either call the police or hit him right the fck back. You know, in ‘self-defense’.

thats abuse punnishment is sometimes a smack (which is still abuse) but usually a punishment like being grounded, getting yelled at, loosing privaliges, ect verbal abuse. swearing ect and physical abuse, hitting, kicking, pushing, biting, ect are both forms of child abuse what he did was wrong, it ws abuse and it was in no way an appropriate way to punish you it would be best to tell your mum or another family member about this and if hes often violent to you, to perhaps tell the police about it
