Is it really that bad for feeling guilty about eating?

… Thats exactly how I am… I feel fat even when I take a bite of something… So I dont eat, unless my blood sugar is really low and I get really dizzy and light headed, then I eat half a banana and 4 crackers lol… And even then I feel extremly guilty.. =S

You shouldn’t feel guilty for eating… our bodies need food, that’s why it exists. Eating food is something people should do in their everyday life. Half a banana and 4 crackers aren’t enough, not even for a child. You need to start eating more…

You need help. It is bad that you feel guilty, because you need to eat in order to live. A way to think of it is the food you eat isn’t going to waste. I feel bad when I drop food on the floor, but not when I eat it because it is serving its purpose as fueling the body.

Feeling guilty about having half a pizza or a lot of cake - I can totally understand and find logical. But in your case I sincerely believe you need to get some professional help.

Food is supposed to be a joy and not a burden to worry about. My grandma says all the time; “I wish I ate all the delicious food in the world while I had the chance, instead of worrying about my stupid dress size”
