Infected bellybutton?

I got my bellybutton pierced the week after Thanksgiving. I thought it was healing up at first and I’d been cleaning it with Bactine and Witch Hazel, but now it’s getting really red and puffy around the actual holes and there’s a bit of pus coming out. Is it infected?!?!

Yea that happened to me. It took mine 4 months to heal. And sometimes it does that. But I clean it all the time. About 2 or 3 times a day. I don’t know what it is. And I have had mine done since august.

I had same problem and discovered I was allergic to the belly button ring get a tiatian ring and keep area clean always hope this helps ya

Use Sea salt…first clean with antibacterial soap then take a shot glass or a small glass mix a tablespoon of sea salt and fill with water the bigger the glass the more salt…then bend forward and place the glass on belly button firmly and then lay back hold it there for ten minute twice a day. Do this for a week and if it doesn’t start to calm down then maybe see a doctor…but do not take it out because if it is infected you will pull the infection inside.
