Im trying to figure out what I want... Can some of you help me?

Okay, so I just dumped my girlfriend as some of you may know, and I haven’t completely gotten over her yet. Im still thinking about her a lot, I don’t know why I am either, she’s such a b*tch. But I’ll get over her eventually. Anyways, I’m a sophomore in high school starting next year. I was wondering if I should start looking for someone? Or waiting for someone to find me? Because, I don’t really want a girlfriend right now, like I want to start dating other girls at my school, but not be boyfriend/girlfriend. So is it best to wait for one to find me? And should I keep dating?

who cares about her trying to make you jealous!!! be your own man and be a stud. have fun with everyone…I am not saying go a get crazy with anyone but kiss around a little and enjoy it. don’t commit yourself while you are so young. I wish I would of opend myself up during highschool but nooo…for some stupid reason I always had a boyfriend. looking back, they wer terrible boyfriends except two that I can think of. just have fun…don’t expect anything from highschool. live day to day except for you serious stuff like grades and homework. but you social life —live it up mister!!!

I think you should take a few months off… focus on school, hang out with friends, etc.

That’ll help you to avoid any ‘stupid rebound mistakes’ that are oh so common in this type of situation. Avoid your ex too (to the best of your ability). If she’s anything like you’ve described her, she’ll try to make you jealous, by whatever means she can.

Once you’ve gotten past the breakup (mentally), then you’ll be ready to look for other possibilities.
