Hi Im 13 and I weigh 130 I look digusting I need to lose at least 20 pounds any suggestions???

How to LOSE weight?

First, determine from the information below, what your weight should be. Then set yourself goals of a week, 2 weeks, a month, 3 months, 6 months and a year. As you see yourself meeting your goals it becomes easier. Remember, you didn’t gain your weight overnight so don’t expect to lose if overnight. Plus, weight lost slowly is more likely to stay off than weight lost in a hurry.

25 to 29.99 Overweight
30 to 34.99 Obesity (Class 1)
35 to 39.99 Obesity (Class 2)
40 or greater Morbid Obesity

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”

One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

YOU’RE NOT OVERWEIGHT! I get sick and tired of perfectly fine weighted people complaining that they’re overweight. If you want to be overweight gain 50 pounds.

trust me girl your not over weight bc I’m in only 20yrs old and I weigh 200 and I’ve got to try to c if I can get my wedding dress to be taken in so I need some suggestions also to loose weight. I hate my stretch marks I have on my sides. But my fiance says that im not fat bc his ex girlfriend was really bigger than me so which I saw a pic of her and she is really bigger than me. But its hard to loose weight. I try not to eat fries when they fix them here at home. I try not to fix as much on my plate. so I’ve tried to cut back but its really hard. I know I cant loose that much weight bc I have big bones. so when you push on my chest just a tiny bit you can feel my ribs. hope this helps u

girl what the hell is your problem? so wht if your 13 and weigh 130. how tall are you? omg…ok someone gave me da suggestion. eat 2 packets of oatmeal every morning for breakfast for like a month and then change it up. she went from a size 7 to a size 0 so yeah. but don’t get to a 0 because no offense but I think the female body is very sexy and it needs curves and meat and it needs to look like the old greek pics look. look at the venus pic of venus on da seashell. thats what the female body should look like and if you weigh 130 then it does. so you have a perfect body and this girl made me realize I do to. so did my new friend neicy. just by the reposts they put on my question if I’m pretty or ugly and fat so yeah. seriously,…you don’t need to lose 20 pounds. the only amount you should even try to lose is 10. but not 20.

learn to love your self and your body, it’ll never be as young as it is right now. Then after youve accepted yourself just go slowly. More weight comes off and stays off when you make gradual lifestyle changes, (choosing fruit instead of fries, walking to the store instead of getting a ride, switching from regular to diet, then diet to water, etc.) than when you go all out on some fad diet or starve yourself.
