How do I get her to let me on the pill!?!

Answer #1

did you let her know why you wanted to go on the pill? and for cramps exercise is actually good and also you dotn want to drink ice water because cold stuff like that only makes it worse.

Answer #2

try pads, there are many kindds of pads out there if you want to have a child later in life, your going to need a period you could get your tubes tied (need to be 18 though) but this costs money and can be dangeriouse, like any surgery it also almost eliminates your chances of getting pregnant the pill comes with side effects so research it, and ralk to a doctor as well as your mum about it because your going to need a prescription from the doctor for it theres also lots of ways to reduce cramps and make them hurt less and just be awar that billions of other females are going through the same problem as you

Answer #3

I have the same prob with my mom not letting me. she thinks its so I can I have sex, but its just so I dont have a period every month. I hate it too. well you dont necessarily need her approval or need her to tell you that you can get it. you can go to a free clinic and they could put you on the pill. have you explained all of this to her, bout the leaks and your modeling? you cannot stop your period completely, but you can stop it from coming every month.

Answer #4

You can go to a Planned Parenthood center and I’m pretty sure they will give you a trial of birth control.

Answer #5

Jaz did you not read what I said about pads. but I do plan on talking to my dr. I just brought it up, my dads all NO! cause he thinks I want to do the deed(as if that ship hasen’t sank already lol) he why are dads so against there daughters having sex underage or not. I’ll ask later. My mom on the other hand will consider considering it, frankly I don’t legally need there permission but I thought asking was the responsible thing to do and instead of yelling at me in a senstive situation and being sarcastic they could listen, why is every thing I do always responded whith when your older, even after the age mentioned ( another one lol).

So I’ll out in a good word to the doc, I think if im sexually active shouldn’t I be on it anyway.

Answer #6

All mothers have that first reaction! My mom almost freaked- I wasn’t sexually active when I first got on the pill, and the pill actually made my cramps worse! So be sure to talk to your dr. about which pill would work best for you! Don’t be ashamed!

Answer #7

Do some research on the pill, learn as much as you can about it, and then ask her and have your information ready at hand to answer her questions about how she thinks it’s not safe.

Although, even on the pill, there is only 1-2 kinds that give you fewer period. It wont get rid of them for good - it just gives you 3 a year instead of every month.

Answer #8

We have science to help alleviate suffering.

I really hope you’re on the pill by now. If not…

TELL your mum that you are going to get the pill because your periods are very painful and heavy. It would better to have her agreement so that you can go to the gyno and they could check you out to see if there’s any obvious cause for all the gushing.

Either way, get the pill and if there’s shouting just keep firmly telling them that it’s for the periods.

Parents don’t like their children growing up, but neither can they want you to be in agony.

Hope you’ve gotten help by now.
