What do telemarketers do?

im going for an interview today for a telemarketing job and I want to know what telemarketing jobs do!!

well my fiance picked that job for me!! and I didnt even know anything about it until he came to me and said hey you have an interview!!

telemarketers are those jerks who call you during dinner to try to get you to buy something.

Call people over the phone, reading from a script in an attempt to sell something or get them obligated to purchase.

Yes - sometimes it is all scams, but some are legitimate.

Good first job, tough it out!! there is plenty of opportunity in this industry. If it is an unethical job, that is for you to decide to stay or to go.
