I love my mom, but I cant talk to her about feminity

iam 13, and I just started my period…and I get a weird feeling in my stomach every time my mom and I talk about feminine stuff. I do keep clean and all… I just dont know but lately I’ve been feeling better now that I have my period, I feel I can open up just a bit more… help please

your lucky to have a mom my mom split when iwas 8 & my sister 5. my dads been great he’s never even dated but try talking about feminity with your dad. I try to help out my little sis with personal stuff but all I had was my dad

What do you need help with?

Having your period is a natural process, and I know how hard it can be to talk to moms, but just remember, your mom was once young and had the same problem trying to figure out how to talk to her mom.

It’s something all of us girls have to encounter eventually.

Well your young and I know it can be very hard to talk to your mother about things I was like that at your age but as I grew up my mother and I became bestfriends and now I share every thing with her, If I would have done this as a young teen it would have made things a lot easyer on her and I .
