I DO have sleeping problems, mom!

This is what I got from a PhD Certified test. I told my mom, and she laughed, and told me that I am making this up, and I need to get help…Yet she won’t take me to a doctor to actually test if I have insomnia. Whenever I went to bed at 10:00, I lay in bed until 3:00am, when I FINALY fall asleep. She HAS seen it too. She is just brushing it off. I also have horrid bags under my eyes like I have been sleepwalking for a hundred years. Any adive to at LEAST get my VERY stubborn mom to take me to the doctor’s and test me for a sleep disorder?

Thanks. But ALL my family live far away, my friends aren’t allowed at my house very much, and my dad is too embarressed to take me to the doctors…o.0

I ave the same problem…I will go to bed fr 21:00 and still be laying there wide awake until up to 4-5 oclock I cant help it no matter how much I try and my family thinks that I am worrying too much but I really dont know what the problem is…but I would do any thing juss to ave some sleep…

while you shouldnt completely beleive those tests, as there not an actual diagnosis not being able to get to sleep for over 3 hours isnt normal sleeping behaviour and does sound like you might has something like insomania tell her that this is seriouse, youve been constantly laying in bed for hours and cant sleep, your body is affected by it as well, youll probably be more tired throughout the day and wont feel as energetic if she wont take you ask your dad go by yourself or get a friend, relative or other family member to take you
