I could really use some advice

well there is this guy that for some weird reason..I really like..we worked together for a while..and we really hit it off great…then he moved away with another girl…but they broke up…we remained good friends and he shows that he still likes me…we are total opposites…but I cant get my mind off of him..he is also coming back to visit…sould I try to get him to stay and be with me or what…im so confused…please help
