How can I stop crying, even when I'm not sad?

I can’t stop spurratically crying when i’m not sad. I am not depressed, I am not necessarily feeling THAT stressed at the time, but it feels like there are too many hormones in me or something, and i just randomly start to cry. does anyone think they know why? or have any suggestions on how to stop this from happening?

If you’re going through puberty, it could be the hormones. I was an emotional wreck when I was twelve years old.

You could always talk to a doctor or therapist about it too though. With some people, the issue is something like a chemical imbalance. When that happens, even happy thoughts aren’t going to help. It’s something the person has no control over. Medication helps for some people.

I really know what you are going through..the smallest thing will set you off..Sad songs does it for me..I can be in a big group of people ..at a party ..pub..Happy one min Then A song comes on and tugs at the oll heart strings and silent tears start to roll down those cheeks..I think it is wanting someone to love you unconditionally..or wanting the feeling of being in love and trusting someone for the very first time. When that sort of relationship ends it creates in us a feeling of doubt about ourselves and we are never so trusting again. The thing to do is to try and appreciate the good times and reflect on them..Start loving your inner self and find something that is very very dear to your heart to get involved in..I have found that this does work for me a lot better..Take care..Cheers Kayehelen

im 13 and i cry all the time for no reason even if im just a bit stressed lol.
