How would I know if I have a std?

What is std…and how would I know that I have std or not?please help

an STD is a Sexually Transmitted Disease..There are also STI’s, which are Sexually Transmitted Infections. STD result from damage caused by any STI. You would know if you have one if you have any abnormal discharge, itching, burning during urination swelling etc. The only way to truly know is to go to your dr. or to a clinic and be tested..that way you can be put on an appropriate medication to prevent any further damage.

I would just agree with nl83 that if in doubt, get checked out at a clinic. The staff are generally helpful and aware that some people visiting may be nervous, young, their first visit or in some cases, all three.
