Well, first you have to secure the line to the rotating barrel that’s on the reel - you can tie it in place, then slowly reel it in, making sure it doesn’t twist or kink, until you have enough line on your reel. From there you can feed the line through the eyes along the rod, then attach a weight at the end to hold your line in place.
