Fishing question

I found a state park where I can go fishing. 2 ponds there are stocked with trout in the fall. Other species present include large mouth bass, chain pickerel, black crappe, perch, tiger muskies, carp and sunfish. I would like to catch the bigger fish (staying away from sunnies), so, I was wonder if I should go with lures or live bait and if anyone has any other advice

Thanks

Answer #1

try bottom fishing with nightcrawlers probably get some big bass sunfish cruise mid to surface depth where most of the biggies like to bottom feed thats my experience anyway pickerel like lures sometimes good fight but bony eating happy fishin!

Answer #2

My Dad is into fishing. He suggests live small-bait like Crayfish.

Good luck!
