How to become a wiccan?

How do you become a wiccan???

jazlovestoskate I agree that most younger people who begin wicca eventually grow out of it when they get bored of it etc, but I do know a LOT of wiccans who began as teens and are in their 50s now and still wiccan, so im not sure id say a LOT grow out of it but yeah there are quite a few who do. so agreed.

how do you become a wiccan? study the beliefs and common practices and decide if its for you to begin with (just like with alll religions) however there is a tradition in which the indivual studies wicca (beliefs and practices) for a year and a day and then is initiated and I guess thats becoming wiccan. I would advise books and online schools that have lessons for the year and a day, and find a list of what most wiccans should know after the year and a day study period. But thats if you decide its something you really ARE interested in.

Are there male wiccans? yes there are, of course!

do you have to stay christian for the rest of your life? its a religion, people leave their religions all the time. To me , if you decide its not for you after awhile its no big deal at all. If you have any questions feel free to funmail me, I have been wiccan for about 6 years now.

  2. of course there are any sterotype or new age sterotype based on mythological creatures/people (witches with powers, vampies, ect) can be male or femal none of them are restricted to one gender only even in you just
  3. obviously not, it something that most people grow out of when they get older, while some people do stay as one for the rest of here life, its rare most who pick a sterotype or some other catorgory to call themselves will usually grow out of it

Yeah there are male wiccans just like you could have MALE CHRISTIANS!!! If you want to start or leave Wicca it’s your own choice. I’d try typing in Wicca for beginners on google and browse through those sites. I’ve been a Wiccan for almost a year now so good luck on your own spiritual journey…x

What’s going to stop you from following it and what could stop you from leaving? Nothing. It’s a personal choice. I’m sure there are male Wiccans, and I’ve seen a few on the site, although I’m not sure how serious all of them all. I’m sure one of them could help you.
