how much would I loose?

if I ate around 150 calories a day, and did about 2 hours of walking a day, how much weight could I loose in a week?

I’ve been eating around 100 calories per day and I lost at least 5 pounds last week. You’ll be exercising around the same as I do too. You WILL live, but you’ll probably get very tired and feel sick sometimes. People say ‘eat healthy and exercise regularly’ but it doesn’t really work quickly enough for me. You need to burn more calories than you consume. Saying that, you need to be careful with what you eat. Change how many calories you eat in a day, for example: One day eat 70 cals, then 125, then 150, then 50, and so on. Maybe not so drastic as 50 but yeah, you get what I mean. If you don’t eat enough your body will tell and go into starvation mode so apparently this stops it. Also, don’t just limit yourself to one or two foods. Although you won’t be getting enough of the things your body needs, it will help to get some. Try to get a bit of everything (protein, calcium, etc) into your body every week. Also look up negative calorie foods. I find that the BEST thing for me is pepsi max. It fills up your stomach with bubbles and makes you feel full for quite a long time, and it’s only 1 cal per can. :) Well good look and add me on x.cathy_baybee.xx@live.co.uk if you need and help or anything :) xx

Emma, it would be better to eat 1200-1500 calories and still do the walking. (No junk food.) That way you can lose weight without triggering your body’s starvation mode. You won’t harm yourself. And you may help to put yourself on track to a healthy eating pattern for your life.

One of the problem with fad diets is that they cannot last. 150 calories a day will kill you if you stay on it. And when you go off the fad diet your body will grab and store every calorie it can, which will send your weight quickly upward.

work out what your BMR is and how many cal’s you will burn during the excercise. google for an online calculator.

for instance, say it’s 1,200 cal’s per day. so your body naturally burns 1,200 cal’s per day to keep itself going.

you eat 150 cal’s in a day…minus the 1,200 BMR cal’s your body naturally burns per day = -1050 cal’s [also minus the cal’s you burn during excercise.

900 cal’s = 1lb so if you were -900 cal’s in a day, you’d lose 1lb per day.

You wont live a week.

Try eating lowest 1000-1200 calories a day. You’ll loose weight, and wont go anorexic

well eatin only vegetables you wud lose bout a stone in a week but after that ya want loose any because it will store the vegetables because ya body will go in2 starvation mode, ya will still lose weight onviously but it wud be a lot better to jus starve ya self
