How long is a female dog in heat?
My dog been on her 10th day today of her period she is still bleeding can we mate her today will she get pregnant even if she is bleeding can a dog get pregnant even if she is still bleeding?
anything between 2 and 4 weeks in most cases
I dont know about the bleeding but id advise you to not let a male near her while shes bleeding cus that could be cruel
Dogs are in heat for 3 weeks…first one going into heat, second one is the breeding time…3rd week going out of heat.
If you don’t even know the answer to this very basic question, then don’t breed your dog at all…leave breeding to the experts, who’s goal to to better a breed. No reason to bring a batch of unwanted pups into the world, since there are 4 million of them a year getting killed in the shelters.
