How do you red kool-aid out of cream colored carpet?

My son just told us last night about the stain in his room.I read on here about useing the the windex and iron method and an iron but it say how to do it?Can someone tell me how they do it? Thanks Brenda Roach

Dish detergent or laundry detergent (mix either with water) and a bristle brush can get a lot of stains out. I’ve never tried windex…

I’ve heard oxyclean works too…

Those Rug Doctor carpet shampooers from Home Depot or Lowes work PHENOMENALLY!!

This came up in the past:

I never tried the ammonia method so I’ll leave that to others.

Since I last answered I learned about another trick. Hydrogen Peroxide. However, the drug store peroxide probably isn’t strong enough. If you have a beauty supply story than buy some clear 30 volume hydrogen peroxide. Be sure to use the clear variety; also sometimes hydrogen peroxide is called hair color developer.

This is 3 times stronger than drug store peroxide so be careful with it. Do not get any one you, avoid breathing fumes and follow all precautions on the bottle.
