How do you make friends at a new school in highschool?

How do I make friends and meet people because what im intrested in not many people are im going into 9th grade highschool new people new everything I scared I will get lost make people hate me or do something stupid

Answer #1

just mainly, be urself.. if you want to make true and real friends, you will be urself, because they will accept you for who you are. and also don’t try to be someone else either, just simply go with the flow.. it’s hard for the first month, but I promise you, it’ll get better.. and soon, your going to look back when the quarter ends and say ‘wow, I’ve made it’ and then from there one, you’re goign to have people who accept you, and true friends.. good luck (:

Being nice is seemingly the best way to go. Just walk up to people with a friendly hello and that will take you miles with them. Just have a bit of confidence and a nice non forced smile and that will work just about every time. People will most likely forget about anything stupid you do, so that you don’t have to worry about. It does help to realize that something is stupid before actually doing it.

ahh I remember my freshman year in highschool lol currently a junior now. Don’t worry about, just be calm and cool and don’t freak about. Try to be confident and social with others. Of course everyone who starts high school is gonna be shy and nervous but it will pass. just don’t over think. And here’s a tip lol try to enjoy your freshman year bc time flys by fast my friend lol before you know it you’ll be a senior graduating h.s smh.
