How do to say sorry, when you screwed up badly?

I did the most stupidest thing months/ years ago and now it has come back to haunt me. I dont know what possessed me to do it, I guess I was insecure with myself and my talent that I took someone’s elses and made it my own. They just now found out about it.

I know it was still wrong and I want to make it right I want to say im sorry so badly and the more it torments me the more afraid I become. I know that if I dont do it it will make me feel more guilty and other things.

How do I go about of doing it?

Should I write a long heartfelt apology or one that is short and to the point

and please be quick with the help pleasee.

Telling us briefly what you did would help us to help you decide what to do. It is understandable that you don’t want to tell anybody though. From what you have said, Personally I think it would be best to be upfront about the situation. Let the person see that you are truly, deeply sorry and regret doing what you did.

Answer #2

You could write a poem or a song and recite it for that person. If you play an instrument you could compose some music to go along with a song if you write one.

If you write a letter I’d so go with heartfelt. It doesnt have to be long to be heartfelt, but it probably will turn out that way. =)

Answer #3

Long heartfelt, and up front. Say it instead of writing it, it’ll make it feel more personal. I’ve had to say apologies before, and trust me saying is better then writing.

Answer #4

It would help if you would have explained the situation more. Such as what you did. But in this case I’d go with the long heartfelt apology.. at least that’s what I’d prefer.

Answer #5

just say sorry
