How do I tell mom im getting married even if she dont like it?

well first of all im 15. and I think I speak for 99.99 percent of da u.s. population when I say your f@#$en crazy. what are you in 8 grade? did he propose? if he did then your both crazy. the whole point of being ateen is that your free 2 do prety much wateva you want without the pressures and limitations of bein married or havin kids.

You’re 13. How old is the person you’ve been dating? Unless you plan on waiting til you are 18 to get married, you might have an extremely hard time getting married at 13.

I know loads of people are saying this and you may think you really love him but my best friend went out with someone for 5 years, and she isn’t with him anymore. It may have been 2 years but your young (coming from someone who isn’t much older than you). I’m not saying your not going to last longer than 2/5 years because that was just one person, but at least wait till your 16 (at least). Apparently most divorces happen when people under 20 get married, so wait till your 16/15 and even though it’s not the best age, it’s still better than 13. If he really loves you, he will wait.

My previous bestfriend (long story behind this but mehh) had this happen to her. She was 14 and her boyfriend was 18. He was a complete dickhead though. and he proposed to her, but she ‘felt nasty’ saying no, so she said yeah. I said she was stupid for giving her life away so early, and he could of left it untill she was atleast 15/16. Now were not best friends because she thought the advice I gave her was harsh, because supposivly this lad ‘loved her more than anything’ yeahh, what happens 3 weeks afterwards? Considering you need parental approval and must be at least 16 to even get married your paddling up shit creek. So you gonna move out at 13, pay your own bills, get an apartment (oh wait you need to be at least 18) Do you even know how much stuff costs? You can’t even have a job at 13. What are you thinking? Rents $600 month, Food $250 month, Electric/Gas/Water/Sewer - $200 If you want TV and Internet $100 month. Cell phones for both of you at least $80 a month. Don’t forget your married now so you won’t be on mom and dads insurance so add on another $200+ a month in health insurance. That’s like a minimum of $1500 a month just to live with basic necessities. And thats in a ghetto apartment. Wait until your 18 things change.
