How do I get my parents to like the boy I'm inlove with?

in 7th grade I started dating this guy, I never felt for somebody like I did for him, and still havn’t. we “fooled around” and my parents found out so I was forbidden from talking to him or seeing him. it’s over 4 years later I’m a junior in highschool now and I still love this boy like the day I did when I met him. over the 4 years I kept getting caught sneaking out to see him, conversations we’d have, sneaking around all the time, or they’d just simply catch us talking. so it’s been 4 years and they caught us talking again the other day, this kid has changed a lot and so have I and we want nothing more than to be with eachother. so please, how do I get my mom and dad to finally give him a chance?

Answer #1

go for him. In so many years you will be 18 and adult and you make your own discions. If you love him, be with him. Just remeber to not fool around to much cause if you dont use protection right your whole world will be changed forever

Answer #2

Moms and Dads are always protective, they just care about you. Ask them to remember when they were young and in love. Try to stop breaking rules for this guy and maybe get your grades up and tell your parents it’s because of him helping you (I’ve done that lol).

Answer #3

Well, first off, tell them good stories about him or how smart or kind he is. That way, before they even meet him, they have a good impression. Also, when they first meet him, they will always try to detect the flaws because thats just how parents are about their childs boyfriends or girlfriends. Hopefully they will see more good! And tell them how well he treats you. Hopefully if they know how much he means to you, they will be happy for you! =)

Answer #4

To be honest. You just have to let him do all of that. And if you are both inlove with eachother then its much much easier .. You show your parents how much you to are happy together and he shows them what he is capiable of doing for you. So not only are you inlove but your happy and you want you parents to accept someone who can look after you and bring you smiles everyday.. Ive been threw it all and my parents loves my man. :)
