How do I be more descriptive?
I’m a fanfiction writer and I’m currently working on my own original work. How do I become more descriptive and deep with each word that I use to explain a character and everything around them? Sense, Smell, Sight, Hearing. All of it.
Examples are welcome. I’m open to any suggestions.
First, try describing the things around you ( in real life around your neighborhood ). What do you see, hear smell, and sense in your neighborhood? How would you describe the weather right now in your town? Have you learned about alliteration, onomatopoeia, metaphors, and similies yet? Those are useful tools to use in your everyday writing.
