How can you survive with a felony

Can life get any worse. I’m 21 as wasn’t even covicted of a felony just placed on adjufication probation wich I completed like a year early.that was in 05 here it is like 3 years laterand I’m dealing with nothing but a bunch of b.s. I was told that with the completion of my probation my charge would show up when they ran my background”lies”.I mean I wouldn’t be tripping except for da fact that it wasted my time and my money but at da same time if I would have took probation I would’ve had my lil girl wich is 4months old.the only problem is finding a job to take care of my lil girli know ways to get money im’a x stick up man/slanger so I know how to get money but as you get older you get wiser and learn that all that is just b.s. Wake up living life looking over ya should always thinking to yaself “ anyday now I’ma get got” and you realize it aint worth it. So you put down da gun and da work and pick up the pen steady filling out these application just to get turned down again & again and so on.People who see da drive in you to succeed and da potential you hold to do what needs to be done in order to produce fantastic results.I’ve been to several interviews just for people to tell me that im a good man and that they think that everybody deserves a second chance but unfortunately because of company policie they cannot be the one to give it to me.So it’s starts to make me wonder do I give up and go to what I know to keep my daughter fed are do I keep trying just to have these hypocrites criticize me because of a felony thats not even harming to anyone.a useless unauthorized use of a vehicle. So if you would some advice is well needed from the people who can relate to what I’m going through because I’m really only one step away.

An ex-con can’t get a regular job. You have to go into business for yourself. I suggest things like lawn maintenance, window washing, or a construction trade. Nobody checks your background, and you still have unlimited upside.

my dad is a felon and he has gone through much of the same thing. He’s been a truck driver for most of his life because of his felony. Sure he’s on the road a lot but he gets paid well.

Life isn’t easy and with a “record” it’s that much harder. But you can overcome the difficulties. It just takes time and perseverance.

Don’t be turned off by the turn downs. Keep on putting your best foot forward and eventually the right door will open up before you.

Think positive, be positive and DO positive.

I’d wish you Good Luck, but you don’t need luck. Just perseverance.
