How can you hit a softball good?

My last softball practice I did really bad with my batting..:( I wannna know some good tips on how to hit a softball (FASTPITCH) and maybe (if any) how to hit it far, like into the outfeild.

Well instead of taking long swings take short and quick swings and cut right to the ball and swing all the way through, also keep your eye on the ball, and don’t worry about power the speed you hit the ball gives you power…I played softball since four years old and almost ten years I’ve been playin and I’m told I’m one of the best in the league I play in … Hope this helped
