How can you best serve your God today?

Good works that go thankless are the strongest form of good works. Those people that need to have their picture in the paper, are doing good works for themselves first. Whether you believe in god or not, helping people, or even animals, or the rain forest is a wonderful way to give a little back.

Well believers might not have a monopoly on performing good deeds but they seem to want to own all the real estate (especially boardwalk and park place) and receive all the credit.

Goodgirl124, That is a great answer! Your answer also reminded me of the the mid west getting hit so hard by adverse weather. Helping those folks clean up and get their homes back in order would also be a great way to serve your god.

You can do anything to serve God, God is very kind and Generous. When we do something bad , he doesn’t see, as he doesn’t want us to be punished and when we do good things like just for a day praying to him and asking for forgiveness he bestows his blessings upon us . Every thing you do is a good deed , every pure intention of yours is a good deed. For example just by touching your mother feet, you serve your good, or by just smiling to a little kid. Every thing you do with good intention is a way you serve God. Take care.

Why do you need to serve God to do those things. Shouldn’t we all do that, regardless of belief in dieties?
