Were kronos/cronus/cronos and rea/rhea gods?

They bore athena, poseidon, zeus, etc.

I read something but it just called them the titans. Since they bore the gods Were they gods themselves?

Cronos is the wily, youngest and most terrible of the children of Uranus, whom he hated. He castrated his father and became the 1st ruler of the universe, but was later overthrown by his own son Zeus.
